| Quote: 21-12 "Apart from his brain fart against Wire lauaki has been good for us this season and really impressed, he's better than Spencer, therefore, its a loss and he will be missed.'"
Although I agree hes done OK (I'd love to see some peoples' definitions of impressive) this season I meant he won't be missed because I think the occasion is too big for people to lose their discipline as he did in the Warrington game. He has displayed signs of too much aggression at times during games this year and this was highlighted during that particular game where it cost us. I think it is unfair on Spen to say Lauaki is better than him when he has allowed been allowed a few 15 minute spells in less than a handful of games.

NOTHING in attack, NOTHING in support play, NO leadership when things wern't going our way, NO breaks, NO flair, NO inspiration ....... just tackling. This is the man who is wearing Ellery Hanley's and Andy Farrells shirt for god's sake.'"
Wrong! He's wearing Sean O Loughlin's shirt and to say he won't be missed is quite frankly the most idiotic comment I've read on here in a long time. The man is a fantastic rugby league player and easilly the best loose forward in the competition.
Very bad news for us but we have to get on with it. COME ON WIGAN!!

So, from the original list we know that we are definitely down on four of the original eight:
No Lockers
No Farrell
No Mossop
No Flower
What about the rest of the ones in doubt?
Tommy (dead leg)
Micky Mac (hip)
Sam (Tonsilitis)
Richards (Knee & Thigh)

Waney has stated himself that Hock is so eager and excited about the game that he hasn't let him train in case he injures somebody, surely you can see what's going to happen when Hock is let loose, it's not going to be pretty, just see how much he looses it when his emotions are running high and the Saints players are taking the urine and winding him up, Hock isn't clever enough not to bite, he needs an older more sensible head to rain him in, i hope he doesn't cost us and i hope he has a great game but i just can't see it happening, I Hope i'm Wrong

No you don't hope you are wrong.... You feel that any thing he does wrong will justify your opinion. Have you considered that it might just be something to say to hype the game?

I thought the Lockers knockers had long since disappeared. How any Wigan fan can write this sort of stuff about Lockers is beyond me. A fully fit Lockers is as good as any British LF I've ever seen, with the exception of those two.
I can't believe that after all these years people are still blaming him for not being as good as Hanley or Farrell.
Why can't people just enjoy watching a talented player who always gives his best for his hometown club?
Are you even serious? Is this a ironic cut and paste from a thread from years ago when Lockers was doing his damnedest to carry the side but still getting abuse from so-called Wigan "fans"? (I recall a muppet of a Leigh fan posting on here that Lockers was not only not international standard, he wasn't even SL standard and to my disbelief seeing Wigan fans agreeing with this nonsense... )

| He's the 4th best I've seen after Hanley, Farrell and Sculthorpe in that order.
A terrific player and a Wigan legend on his own terms rather then who he's related to and considering some people would let the Faz link drop years back that's some compliment.

Just lol
Lockers better than Sculthorpe - only in Wigan could such nonsense exist.

I'll give you that. I always think of Sculthorpe as a stand-off, that was I think his natural position, but you're right. For once.

| Lockers is a fantastic player, there i've said it. Its just lately all he is is a tackling machine. That can be left to others (if they was as good). Its just that lately he is offering very little other than tackling, something that a LF should offer more, especially in attack.
When is the last time you saw lockers gathering the players beneath the sticks and giving them a good talking too, ala Farrell or Hanley or any good captain when things are not going our way.

If one Captain expresses himself as a shouter and a screamer that dosent mean they all have to work like that, O Loughlin is an inspirational captain and a man they all listen to... that is a fact!
would you rather he was gobby average player rather than a great organiser and a tackling machine?
Get off his back and have a closer look in how he works on monday and accept thats how he does his job
Happy season and remember ellery and Faz were in the past
