I didn't say that they want Wigan to lose... I said it would annoy them, implying it would not suit their agenda.

Enjoyed the game, glad I went (which certainly wasn't the case with some away games last season), we scored some great tries, yes the traffic is awful, but I'll be guided by some of the wise advice here on any future trips to Salford. Which isn't in Salford, of course! Shame, cos I could get a train from Ince straight to Salford Crescent. But Google Maps tells me that's six and half miles away! That's a bit more than a 'brisk walk'!

Really impressed by the speed of movement in the second half but Sarginson was not on the same wavelength as some of the others. How many times did he watch a man inside him running an arc towards the touchline and rather than offering the run inside just got crowded out and ended up in his wingers pocket so neither of the could offer anything. We had that drilled into us at U12s.

But you did say that “A win must have really pi$$ed off some”. I can’t imagine one Wigan fan who would in any way be annoyed or peed off by a good win.

To be fair Andy, I think it was obvious he was making a point regarding the unnecessary pessimism on these boards at times rather than meaning it literally. I, for one, am with him if only for the reason that it sucks the enjoyment out of supporting the team. Oh for the days of fans, rather than the internet experts we seem to have these days!
