Oh dear... The point is we are half expecting to lose... Its the week after a cup final, any team would be vulnerable, and any good coach can dress it up as such... You would have no excuse for losing. |

Gut feeling. I think we will (certainly to push you all the way).
Should we win at Wembley, I woulds expect something like the following: The lads to have a session on Saturday night in London and then be given Sunday & Monday off on holiday (no alcohol), then training Tuesday, which leaves Weds/Thurs/Fri and Saturday before the game on Sunday....easy enough time to recover.
Maguire will have the players chomping at the bit for the Wire game (regardless of the Wembley result), in days gone by under Noble then yes I would expect us to go in half baked, but not under MM. |

Everything we've seen from this regime suggests that. If we do lose and play poorly, I certainly won't accept ''well we had a Cup Final last week'' as an excuse for a half d effort.

I think the players will be up for it at wire as they know any half baked performances from them and MM will most likely drop them for the playoffs and a grand final appearance if we make it

If we are to replicate the culture from our glory days then we need to back up important wins after a final, such as in 1987:
Beat Manly on the Wednesday eveving to become World Club Champions for the first time, then played Wire off the park 28-16 on the Sunday afternoon in the Lancs Cup Final at Knowsley Road.
