The easiest and fastest way to Bank Quay station from The Halliwell Jones Stadium is leave via Dallam Lane (behind the west stand) then turn right at the Three Pidgeons pub and walk up Tanners Lane, through the traffic lights and down Froghall Lane.

Go under the railway bridge ane turn left, keeping the town hall on your left hand side walking down Crosfield Street, cross the road at the traffic lights and Bank Quay is just up on your right hand side.

As I'm sure most do, but all it takes is a few 'ballbags' (from either side) to start trouble and some innocent bystander can be drawn into it, for me, the 16.30 ko is a bad move, far to much drinking time for those who cant handle it.

there has been trouble previously outside the Kings Head but I can assure you that those outside involved do not go in the Kings Head before or after the game. supporters of all teams go in there mostly before a game and there is no trouble what so ever

They came out of the kings head in numbers too. Didn't look like they'd been to the game. Im from warrington and id suggest It's more a Warrington problem than wire RL fans.

you dont need to go looking for it...........walk to Bank Quay station and trouble will find you.....at every pub you pass.

Train travel is inadvisable.
