Have you tried the company that they appointed to sell the rights? I forget what they are called, but im sure they secured the NRL in USA deal and the world cup deals last year. IMG worldwide maybe?

I have looked and cannot find a contact number for them but i would advise to contact either sky or virgin and they should have a contact number for the channel or ppoint you in the right direction to contact them.

They dont broadcast on Virgin so they wont have a number for them. And I doubt sky will bother to give you the info as they are only EPG partners.

Try giving setanta in dublin a ring.

Had an email from the NRL overnight who say they haven't done a deal for UK TV broadcast yet. So not sure what's going on.



It said "We haven’t agreed a deal as yet – the below (i.e what I asked about MSK) isn’t confirmed".

So not sure what's going on.

the channell itself is showing NRL Live when you scroll to the time.

I know it is. It all seems a bit low key though with no announcements from the NRL or anyone. We can only wait and see tomorrow.

After seening the test card last week.

Maybe Setanta are going back to their roots and doing PPV for those in Ireland that down have Setanta Sports Ireland.

for those saying its too much messing around to got PPV it only takes a flick of a switch. Any adult channel cant switch you on in mins even in the days of analogue sat.

Ignore the Setanta PPV test card, (in my opinion) thats just something that goes back to when Setanta started as a Pay per View channel years ago.

And btw if nowt appears at 10am don't panic either. Channel 9 coverage in Australia only starts at 10:30am UK time and I'd be very surprised if they offered us locally based studio stuff. If nowt appears by 10:30am though, that equals a false dawn.
