I think Tuson will also get a ban for going a tad OTT in response. I agree Hock should be sending off sufficient but it won't be.

Normally when a player gets sent off and banned you ask questions about how professional they were but in this case with Tuson the club should give him a bonus not a fine (as sometimes happens). No one is going to go after Tuson again like that and so while we may suffer a player shortage in the next game in the long term that is one reputation cemented as not being a soft touch.

IMO from that fight after looking again.

LMS - No action. The scrum was nothing and it was Hock who made it worse starting tho throw punches. Credit to him for not throwing any punches.
Hock - Sin Bin for making what should have been a bit of nothing in a scrum into a something.
Magennis - Coward act. Only one who deserved red imo. Made the incident far worse and actually waited until a man wasn't going to be able to protect himself.
Tuson - Completely understandable to retaliate. Had a chance to stop once O'Loughlin had hold but carried on, for that a Sin Bin is understandable to cool off.

Bans:
Hock - I think a couple would be fair due to his record, though what he did was nothing spectacularly bad. After they squared up he didn't need to lash out, just pack down. He needs to learn to control himself.
Mossop - A match for coming in and taking the coward out, could have sparked it again.
Tuson - Warning
LMS - Warning
Magennis - Much worse than Godwin at the magic weekend last year, had his chance to lash out as part of a fight and waited to hit a prone player, rather than running in or anything. Calculated and cowardly. Godwin got 2, Magennis should be looking at 3+ really.

We shouldnt laugh etc but because Magennis thought he was Ryan Bailey with his cheap shot, the way Lee Mossop just walked in, dropped Magennis and walked off was brilliant to watch.

IMO there should of been 4 sin binnings Hock and LMS Tuson and Magennis.. The 10 mins would of cooled them all down.
I think Hocks reputation should have NO relevance to his hearing or infact any other players.each incident should be judged separately.

Sending off for Magennis and Tuson and sin binning for Hock and LMS would have been right for me

The longer the ban, the better for saints anyway.

It's not about reputation, it's about past disciplinary record. Which of course should be taken into account.

Anyone seen the picture in the Mirror where it appears that Magennis gouges Tuson?..maybe it's just the angle but it does look like he does.

Will his record go against him? He hasn't been banned for fighting before from memory. Just the ref, sticking his finger in harrisons eye and some bad high shots.

Whoever wrote the caption certainly thinks so...
