1985/86 season I think. I'm 99% sure it was freezing, wet and we battered them.

Watch some amateur rugby, it's a regular occurence, extra points if the ref only realises part way through the game. I can't understand why people walk their dogs on sports pitches, it's a right pain.

don't you know it adds to the drainage,
if you've seen Stanley rangers ground that too has a slope from end to end with a slight one from side to side fantastic drainage with the pitch keeping it prim and proper all season
