Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good

Thats a loan deal. I think they have hijacked a possible deal with Widnes.
I think this off-season we should be looking for super league clubs willing to take on the likes of Mossop, Davies, Walker etc..... |

I'd rather keep him with the First Team personally. If he bulks up, he'd be of more use at prop that Prescott IMO. |

I read this article myself and thought that , but not at any point does he mention himself and if he is staying , and as said in previous posts they definately need some new blood in the squad at wire , theya re getting on a bit . it reminds me some what of Wigan a few years back when They lost 8 players (lam , cassidy era ) at the end of one season and it as taken till now to sort itself out . |

Mossop needs more game time and years in the back row before he is moved to prop. He's copped a few knocks in the 2nd row and it's too soon to move him up front! If anyone is right to move from the back row to prop then it would be Gaz Hock if or when he returns.
Hock is 27 or so, done years in the second row and by all accounts has bulked up. Hock has pace, aggression and plenty skill.
He would compliment Fielden, Coley, Lima and Prescott very nicely thank you!
Those four next year later to be joined by Gaz Hock would provide a set of props that's absolutely awesome!

Prescott is playing really well at the moment from what I can see, however, long term I think you are right.
Mossop has impressed pretty much every time he plays. |

Excellent news.
Although I must confess, a part of me would have loved to have seen him rip it up in the NRL. It makes me chuckle when they harp on about Gareth Ellis. Alright, he's an excellent player in his own right, but Gareth Hock or Joel Tomkins would be devastating in the NRL.

Why would he hold anything against the club that stood by him throughout his suspension and by all accounts will offer him a route straight back into the sport? If anything Gareth Hock owes Wigan plenty for not washing their hands of him, which they would be entitled to do and would probably be applauded for doing in some quarters
Anyway I was under the impression that the rules of Hock's suspension state that he's is not allowed to be involved with, or in contact with any rugby league club, in Super league or anywhere else, for the entire length of his ban. If that's the case why has he been talking to Penrith? |
