| Quote Stu M="Stu M"Since 1996, only in 2 seasons has your highest attendance from that list been against a team other than Saints. Great argument.
And I'm not sure arguing about stadiums is the best course of action as a Wigan fan....'"
Thats why its the biggest derby, and at your place the biggest attendance are Wigan.
Brisbane v Wigan 64,000 puts your visit to shame what was 16000 or so ?
Wigan are the bigger draw dont you agree Stu ?

At the risk of not being 'cordial', you're wrong again. We feature 3 times against other teams including the all time record! Mind you Saints' zero appearances without Wigan 'prove' that it must be due to their fans that Wigan get such big crowds.....oh! Wait a minute..

Wigan at home... not Wigan in general.
So in 27 years from that list on only 2 occasions has Wigan's highest attendance not been against Saints.
Quite how we can be expected to have a higher attendance with a home stadium that holds 7,500 less than the DW is beyond me. I'd love to know how?
Oh and tonight is a home sell out as of 30 mins ago. You'll need to think of some new material lads

Wow! You've managed to attract many thousand less fans than Wigan did for Good Friday. Well done you! Another 4 or 5 thousand and you'll be able to claim better support than Wigan.
You can't attract more and it's not down to your stadium capacity. You've only just managed to sell out on the day for a game where you're hot favourites. How many more do you think you'd get if the stadium was bigger? Another few hundred? A thousand? 2 thousand? You'd still be below Wigan.
It's you who needs new material.

Apparently its very different on Good Friday. Remember that?
I can't believe how argumentative and defensive you all are because I had the temerity to wonder why the away end wasn't sold out tonight. I've never once said we have better home support so quite why I am being presented with average attendances for home games I have no idea.
Anyway win or lose I won't be on after the game so if you do manage a win I haven't gone hiding and if we win, well obviously I won't be bragging either.

It's still 3 regardless of how you try to spin it. Given you were talking about away support, the fact that one of them wasn't at home completely destroys your argument! How are you even trying to twist that with a straight face?
We have featured in the highest crowd against 4 different clubs both home and away. Saints 1. Yet you have the better support. Go figure...

Are you being deliberately obtuse? I specifically used Good Friday to highlight your ridiculous comparison earlier!
Actually, I'm sure you must be aware of this so I'll conclude that you are, indeed, being deliberately obtuse.

| We have some of the best facilities in the league and pay literally naff all for them. Worth playing a few away games for me.

| O'Neill, Thornley and Singleton in for Powell, King and Nsemba.
French named in the halves with Field at fullback.

| Well, it's worth a shot, I suppose, and they can always swap back.
BTW, don't be shy to say hi if you see my bike at the ground. Even you, Stu!
