I dont think LMS threw a punch though, he just got Powell by the scruff of the neck and aggressively pushed him away. The only punching with the handbag fray afterwards I think was Partington but he failed to connect, Bateman also got involved because he's always there for the afters.

We certainly won’t ever get through a game LMS is involved in without a few handbags.

There's no argument here. Everyone (bar 1 person for some inexplicable reason) thinks Powell deserves the ban that is undoubtedly coming his way.

On LMS, I too would be disappointed if our players didn't run in after a tackle like that. However that doesn't change the fact that it's supposed to be a clampdown issue with a no tolerance policy. He should have gone. Simple as that. Moore was poor yesterday on all issues including both being discussed here.

Powell will be be banned (rightly so) for Monday, the disciplinary panel meet either today or tomorrow.

LMS is more of a drama queen and a gobby wind up merchant, I didn't mind the reaction of him with Powell, it was a bad one by Powell, we also get an angry reaction from Roby which is quite unusual for him.

Sky said after the game that any player cited would be eligible for Monday and will only be dealt with on Tuesday.

Roby shows his class there and his reaction was all that was needed. When a player like that is angry it says everything. LMS should’ve been a footballer.

Banned or not, play O'Neil anyway, going to be very disappointed if Shorrocks gets the 9 jersey for the next 6 weeks

I would genuinely have been interested to compare and contrast Peet’s reaction with what Wane would have said. I think Peet will get you lot back on the right track (winning I mean) with a focus on the right players with the right approach to the game.

He’s more Holbrook/Woolf than Lam for sure in his approach.
