I am trying to convince myself that IL has spotted something us mere mortals haven't, that no one can have the business success and amass the personal fortune he has by dropping huge clangers. However, I simply cannot see how this plan benefits anyone in the sport other than, possibly, Catalan Dragons.

As a season ticket holder and this is a home game that I won't be able to attend, am I still allowed to use the 'ticket swap' (or whatever it's called) facility to get an additional seat for another home game?

Wouldn't have thought so - it was always billed as a bonus game that was included in the cost of the ST anyway. Plus if we'd have finished outside the Top 4 you'd only have got 3 games.

Lets not kid ourselves here, this is not for rugby leagues benefit it's purely for IL. As someone as previously stated there is a test match in London during November where punters will probably see a better class of game with decent atmosphere. I just hope this doesn't cost us a home semi with a potential crowd of 20,000+ or God forbid a semi final spot. He could well regret this big time.

This is where my criticism of it lies really, although I do think we should be able to beat Cats in the UK. But the club really should be looking at the current attendances with some alarm and trying to do something to get people back. The regular season averages are over 2k down on where they were in 2011 and 2012, and we've missed out on the opportunity of playing Leeds, Saints and Wire at home in Super 8's, meaning the average is unlikely to rise much over the next couple of months. If we do not get a home semi on top of that, plus taking the "bonus" game to London, that's surely going to equate to a fair amount of potential lost revenue.

Can't see what benefits this will give the club but i will make the trip as missed the annual Bronco excursion this year.
