There is only one way in and way out, on busy games i.e recent 4N game it was a nightmare getting onto the car parks a lot of them where blocked off so any of the free remaining car parks where full in no time.

With the road works now on Plank lane this will put a lot of traffic onto pennington / By pass off the lancs so good luck if there is a decent size crowd, ill be there early anyway as i train at the rugby club next to the stadium

Ok far do's, but there is as i say lots of free parking if you get there early enough.

come on pie lovers you know you'd love to beat us lobby gobblers so get down & watch a good derby with plenty of big hits there's no such thing of a friendly between us

In fairness there were 8,000+ people at that game, weren't there? Won't be any problem with the car parks tonight, all free of charge and adjacent to the ground aside from maybe a 10 minute wait to get off after the game (which isn't exactly unexpected!)

Not bad when compared to pre-booking a space at a fiver each at Salford and still waiting an age to get near the motorway!

Agree there is free parking and thats fine for games with low attendances, however i would hope there is a sizeable crowd tonight and the leythers get out in force as well as us, but remember you have contend with the Morrisons shoppers also, remember a lot people will be leaving work around the 5pm time so will only get to the ground around from 6 onwards so it will fill up sharpish and the traffic will be an issue !

Not to the extent of 8,000! Would be happy with 3-3,500 tonight. Morrison's shoppers aren't an issue either, they're not exactly queuing to get on there in my experience.

The place has been chocka these last 2 Fridays, Pity you leythers talk a good shag when it comes to supporting the club, i would have expected the town to be right behind them against the old foe irrespcetive of the Wigan team turning out.

And before you say owt i do my bit for you lot as well !

If your first team came down then that may whet a few appetites, but with you only sending down a second string 17 then it won't really capture the imagination of the town.

I doubt that will be the reaction if you win tonight, i know only to well that it will be the highlight of the year for a lot of leythers, also it shouldnt need our first team, leigh need all the support of the town so cant see why they dont get down irrespective of who they are playing

I am looking forward to playing your youngsters as they will no doubt be stars of the future and i think it will be better to watch then getting hammered by your first team.

Assume you mean rather than getting hammered by our 1st team, if so i agree, so my point is the town will then hopefully see a competitive fixture so leigh need to get out and support it, however charging £12 for this isnt helping !

I don't think charging cheaper prices would make much difference at all to the crowd in a similar vein to the £15 charged for Sean O'Loughlin's testimonial.

To be honest the price won't put Leythers off, i think more will turn out for this game than our league games, not heard anyone on our message board complain of the price, time will tell i suppose.
