| Quote ROBINSON="ROBINSON"Very unfair to say Sam Tomkins didn't step up.
The only differences between the two sides last night were St Helens 'big game' experience, and a couple of avoidable errors by Wigan.
If anyone wants criticising (and by than I mean dropping from a great big f*cking height) it's that waste of space liability Amos Roberts. He is f*cking shiit.'"

Sam played Pryce off the park last night.
He's the best half back in the country at the moment.

Pryce has been awful at times this year.
If he gets an England jersey I can see him being shown up as he was in the World Cup

I agree, I will be suprised if he isn't in the England team. On form it should be Mcguire and Tomkins but knowing smith it will be Mcguire Burrow with Tomkins 18th man
Tomkins should play against wales and france IMO, we should win them easily whatever team we put out. It will be good to see how aus and NZ do against them compared to us. I wish we could play PNG, Tonga and Samoa though.

| I didn't think he did too badly, he didn't look as dominating as he has done in previous matches, however there are a number of reasons for that. He was behind a pack that was being dominated is a major one.
Another is that he's a young lad that has just played in three knockout games of RL in a row, something he's never done at this level before. That brings pressures that can only usually be dealt with after gaining experience of playing in those kinds of matches.
He's probably just as exhausted mentally as he is physically, you can't afford to switch off as much as you can in standard league games.

They'll be busy in the Pacific Cup. Can't wait for all the international rugby league this autumn

We're going have to agree again (frightening)
What we talked about pre-match happened in that first 10 minutes of the second half.

Why?
It will be poor quality yet again from England with stupid errors and no ideas against the tough defence of aus! We have a slim chance against NZ but not much if they bring a good team.
The crowds will not be sell outs which will just be embarrasing for our game on tv! The games against France and Wales will be walk overs and no one will go to them.
It will be an aus v nz final with aus walking all over them.
I am waiting till 2013 before I think we have a chance, that is enough time to build but I am sure that by 2011 those hopes will go as we continue to pick on reputation.
