You'll find that I have been a consistent Noble doubter throughout this season (as have a number of others). I am disappointed I've been proved right so often this season, I'd rather I were wrong and the team be well coached, well prepared and fully fit and successful.. I'm sorry to say I told you so... but I did.

39110_1363272058.jpg Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good
-
sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league
-
Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate
-
the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever
-
Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go
-
Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know

| If we do not sign a single forward for next year, we will be even worse.
I am now in the Noble out camp tbh.

| Quote: Mother Feka "how embarrassing was fielden today, i knew as soon as he got whacked off morley we would never see him for the rest of the match.'"
The question is why is he getting whacked not only off Morley but every week off a different player. He is being dominated like a little child. Looking at him he doesnt look to be putting the effort in. He runs the ball in lethargic like he has no belief in himself or he simply isnt interested.
Fielden is the type of player that should be leading the way in these games with his experience yet he is being smashed from pillar to post and doesnt look bothered either!

| I was severely disappointed with Feka's performance today, thought he was very weak in defence and didn't put his hand up enough times to take the ball in. I thought Fielden did ok tbh. But we really need some forwards!
People have been saying it for the last few seasons so why doesn't Mr Lenegan go out and get some big prop forwards? Until we do, we will not come close to winning a thing.

| Fieldens here for the pay cheque, not the cherry and White. When Morley owned him a part of me thought we'd see the old fielden, sadly he put his tampon back on, and played p!$$ poor again.

But we have Feka - who if made to get fit would be sensational, Coley - very solid and hardworking and Mossop who is an immense talent with a huge physical presence. The new signings we need to make are a new coach and some new fitness staff. I'd prioritise that over signing any player.

Absolutely spot on about back room staff, they don't count on the cap so we should be going all out to get the best conditioning we can find.

| I'm not sure what Noble is expected to do.
He can't get the players to not drop the ball when they are playing it, he can't simply swap Roberts to the other side so he isn't opposite King, that shows no confidence in Roberts, and anyway, whats to stop King swapping sides to follow Roberts?
I thought Feka was unlucky more than anything, anyone will tell you defense isn't his strong point, we had all the ball before he came on, then, by chance, as soon as he and Fielden came on, they had ALL the ball, I think we defended 4 sets before they actually scored, then we kicked to them, defended a set, then lost the ball in the tackle, or threw it away, then they scored.
Alternatively, we'd kick off to them, they'd trundle up the field and score. They coulnd't do anything wrong and we couldn't do anything right for about 20mins, in which they scored 28 points or something daft.
That killed us.

Are you joking?
Fielden is lower than a snakes belly right now. Today we needed his experience and a good game from him. What did we get? What can only be described as a performance you would expect to see at a Ballet show.

Given the choice, Feka should go over Fielden. At least Fielden can defend. Feka is just abysmal; and once again, no strong runs to even compensate. He should be sacked for breach of contract; impersonating an RL player.

| I think Noble just got the tactics wrong.
We dropped the ball, 3 times in the first three minutes in our own 20 mtr. Then got away with a disallowed try. Right call!
We were trying to play fast hands & feet rugby in our own 30 mtr area. Massive mistake.
Sam T kicked down field to Mathers they made a mistake, they never recovered and we scored a good try. A pen gave us the same field position deep in their half, they made a mistake and Richards goaled.
Then we tried to go back to throwing the ball around in our own 20 mtr area again.
Lost ball, wire try, two minutes later another wire try. A further knock on and yet another Wire try. 8-0 to 8-18 in less than ten minutes all through trying to throw the ball around in our 20-30 mtr area.
And what stopped our revival? Last 10 mins Briers kicking the ball to Phelps early in the count and making us play in our own half.
In the middle of the park it has all been said on here. Prescott & Coley were ok Feka & Fielden were dreadful. Piggy off too long.
F & F are not going anywhere until end of 2010. Something has to be done now to add strength to the pack. As Bailey is out for the season Mossop is a must. Flanagan must be included too. Noticed that Farrell was 18th man & not Pryce. Surely a sign of things to come.
If Bailey is released then there will be plenty money available for a new prop. Suggestions Flanagan could be off too so an amount there.
We're going to need every penny we can get to bolster the pack. Right now if Griffin was available and cheap as chips I'd bring him in. I know it won't be for next year but something has to happen after that display!

Riddell was injured, which is why he was off for so long.

To be honest i think Feka just had a really bad game. Although hes not the best defender hes normally better than he was today so im willing to give him another chance although he does need to get fitter. Fielden on the other hand has been stealing wages from Wigan for too long. This is not just this one game with Fielden he is being destroyed every single week by even average players. I half expected him to have a good game today being such an important game but he got dropped by Morley then put on a show a Ballet dancer would of been proud of. Im of the opinion now that Fielden is not giving 100% and im disappointed by that as he has always been a favourite player of mine even when he was at Bradford.
