The contempt for the fans of both clubs and also towards St Helens is sickening. Wigan should have been given to the end of say yesterday to name a venue by the RFL. If they could not do this they should have surrendered home advantage to us. Much as I would have hated such a scenario as I believe they would have turned up with a siege mentality and been seriously difficult to beat.
This was meant to be the tie of the round, and to be honest I think both sets of fans feel really disillusioned with the way they have been treated. I for one am pretty sure I will not attend the game now, whereas when the draw was made I felt really pumped up and excited about it.

I fail to lay the blame solely at Wigan RLs door. How dare they be drawn at home!
The problem lies with DW for being so unaccomodating and with the RFL for not forseeing this situation and having alternate arrangements in place. |
