| Doesn't look much more than 3-4k sold via the Huddersfield club.

how did Huddersfield town get on in the play-offs. that may have an impact on the number they sell or if there is a late burst of sales. 2 London trips in a weekend at the minute would be a lot for most fans

| It's unlikely any neutrals would be going by coach, which will be cheaper than a standard train fare, so an expensive day without your team being involved.

They are playing at Wembley on the Sunday so the day after. I read that ticket sales have increased now since the football team have got to Wembley. Makes sense to do both Finals if you are a fan of both. Saves paying for travel twice so the only extra cost really is the extra ticket for the other Sport

| Matt Shaw said Huddersfield were reporting a huge increase in sales after Huddersfield Town won, so I went on their ticket site and it tells you when the last ticket was sold. This was at 9.30am the morning after the football won and a ticket hadn’t been sold for 45 minutes, so I wouldn’t be pinning my hopes on it making a huge difference.
I feel for Ken Davy and the Huddersfield club in general. I do not know what the problem is in the town but even when they’re successful, the public still do not back them in the numbers they deserve. The fans that do go are great (cow bell aside) and don’t deserve the cheap shots they get about their support (they are there after all).

plus an overnight stay in London , so best part of 100notes for that
i know if i was in their boat and watching both i'd look to stay over, as 2 long coach trips on Sat and Sun would be a nightmare

there is an irony in that part. Seems like it happens with all teams, the actual supporters who are there, are the ones who are targetted with support being s***

Always the case isn’t it and it’s daft. I went to Huddersfield last Thursday and our fans were giving it to the Huddersfield fans who were there, yet our support was pretty dire itself. The people whose fault that definitely wasn’t were the Huddersfield and Wigan fans sat in the ground and they’re throwing s*ite at each other.

It is bizarre for sure oddly enough sitting in the ground I felt that they had far more fans in the ground than the last time I was there the Sunday game pre covid.

| I’d love to know if every ticket in the stadium has been put on sale. The reason I ask is the RFL Site has been selling every other row in certain sections. If every ticket has been put on sale then the crowd could be reasonable (50k ish at a guess) but if not, well it’s not looking good.

| The problem isn't ticket prices or fan bases. It's all the other costs and general northern oppression. My bills have rocketed up by nearly £300 a month in the last few months. I am tied into contracts with Sky etc that i can't get out of for at least another 5 months and am currently looking for other bills i can squash. Going for a jolly in London is just impossible and couldn't be further from my mind. There must be thousands suffering the same kind of austerity with no wage rise in sight. Effectively feels like my wages have been cut around 20% with the extra money going out. But Boris said 'we would have to cope' so sporting events are way down the list.

You’re not alone with bills going up,luckily for me and my husband the match is in the month of our birthdays so a good chunk of the cost was met by birthday presents, but it’s also time to knock away games on the head where as pre Covid we would go to every game home and away it’s now pick and choose time, sad but there you go.
