Nothing wrong with Smith as a good pack with a good front row will prove!
You only have to look at St Helens last season. Farge is put out for the rest of the season and Dodd replaces him without any problems like Smith had to put up with the poorer Wigan pack, especially in the front row which left a lot to be desired.
Perhaps, that why Wigan have signed three new props for next season and released Bullock and Clarke! |
