Look at his stats over the last 2 years. He is a tackling and metre making machine. Put him in one of the top sides and it improves them instantly. |

Funny seeing the replies from Ozzie fans who are now saying he’s crap and can’t hack the pace so going home. Funny they weren’t saying that all last season and early this season. From what I have seen he has been very good out there, added bonus he’s a better kicker than Zak too, he just needs to embrace that role/pressure as I believe he has the mechanics to be a good goal kicker just his head can go down after missing a kick.

I keep reading people here and in Oz saying how he’s having a poor season this year. He started really well, had one off game and then missed a game with injury and then came back at the weekend and was probably Canberra’s best player. His try contribution record (try’s and assists) for this season when I looked a couple of weeks ago was better than Nathan Cleary’s (he’s gone ahead now after Williams missed game) and it’s still better than the likes of Cameron Munster and Jack Wighton.
We’d be getting a fine player. I really hope he comes back full of belief in himself because he should do. He has more than held his own down under. |

He’s not having a poor season but the Raiders are. His combination with Wighton and Hodgson is a bit clunky – I’m not sure what Stuart has them doing in training, seems to have Williams running across field too much.
