It wasn’t pretty but that was a huge effort defensively. We look messy in attack or at least we did until Smith came on and played like a proper halfback.

Our props have taken a lot of stick but I thought the three lads in there give it one hell of a shot. I thought Partington was everywhere and Singleton really impressed me when he came on. He looked a very useful acquisition tonight.
