| Press conference Monday morning to announce that from now on all future Good Friday matches will be played against Rochdale.
The club doesn't want to spoil anybody's Easter holidays.

| Quote: Last Son of Wigan "Disgraceful post.
To not want to feature in a GF out of fear of a loss is the high of cowardice.
When you’re in the fight you’re in the fight. I’d take a beating and hold my head high knowing I’d given it my all 10 times out of 10 that be thankful to never compete.
You’ll thank me for being the voice of reason. And not for cowering away from a challenge.'"
As the saying goes - “if you can’t support us when we’re losing, don’t bother when we’re winning”

Im with you on this but fear that gap could be even higher if Saints score first.
I've always had a soft spot Salford since the late 60's when they had a cracking team full of pace and would be made up if my prediction is rammed down my throat by Hastings and Co

| Saints at a canter sadly. I’ll be in the Salford end cheering them on but not hopeful. Saints are primed and ready with no chance of complacency. I fear Salford ran their race last week and the occasion could get to them.
Hope I’m wrong.

| Got a feeling Saints will be over confident and could go with the attitude that they have already won, It's just another GF for Saints to bottle

| It's possible that old St Helens big game hoodoo could kick in again, but I can't see it.
The amount of whining coming over the bump last year, when they were nowhere near as good as they are this year, would be drowned out massively if they were to reach two finals in 2019 and lose BOTH of them. It would be ridiculous by almost any standards, let alone for a team of such quality.
The other thing is, I have a concern that Salford are being a bit too cocky. A couple of Salford fans I know are really confident they are going to win. I'm not sure where this stems from, but I'm seeing it replicated on Twitter as well. If it's the same story in the Salford camp, they are in for a big wake-up call. Reminds me of us in '84, when just getting to Wembley was such an achievement that realism fled the scene. We rolled up at the Twin Towers in our noisy thousands, and were taught a savage lesson by a team who were treating it as an actual match rather than a carnival.

If Salford have any chance of winning they will have to withstand the early onslaught from Saints that is going to come at them. Saints will be very fresh and ready to go and will throw everything at them from the kick off in the hope of draining Salford so badly that they cant recover. It remains to be seen if Salford can withstand that early onslaught, i certainly cant see it but if they can get through it and force some Saints errors then you could see Saints start to panic out of fear of losing 2 finals. I just dont see it and i think Saints will win fairly easily.
As i said last week, im just glad its not us that are facing Saints tonight. At least we wont have the double gloating of them being champions and beating us in a final.

Not over at all. Whilst Saints may of started like a whirlwind, they didnt quite take enough out of Salford for my liking. If Salford can level the scores then i can see Saints falling apart
