Reactions like that always amuse me. Written with the heart rather than the head. Red card was the correct decision, probable 3 match ban, 2 if he is eligible for an EGP.

Nah, no way. 13 years, thousands of tackles and that was his first red card and only 1 yellow in his career will see him get a lenient sentence IMO. 2 match ban reduced to 1 with EGP.

| I think the fact that the Wakey player went crumpled badly made it look worse,I think it was just a badly timed tackle, you see plenty like that not even get a yellow card.

| Just got back and still can't believe we won. When Jones-Bishop scored out wide I thought Wakey would be patient and would get at least two or three more similar bits of field position but for some reason they never did and I can't remember another effective attack down that wing at all.
I'd been looking forward to this all week first home game for ages and then when Lockers went and did that I was fuming as I couldn't see us win from there. Glad to be proved wrong and the atmosphere when we scored at the death was fantastic.
No idea what Lockers was thinking of. Less than two minutes two half time, we had weathered two sin binnings and were winning 10-6. Absolutely no need for that. I think he was fed up with Child's and he'd already had a go at him for the 2nd sin binning pointing back to the Wakey line no doubt remaining Childs of the two virtually identical professional fouls he just penalised with no sin bin. One OK, penalty but another the same? Still no excuse for Lockers though.
Thought Tea Towel, Flower and Sutton were immense and made the yards to give us the chance to score the tries we did. Tierney took his tries very well. Loads of pressure, didn't bottle it. Childs needs to find another profession. Before the send off he'd lost control IMO.

| This is a game I can't wait to watch on Wigan TV when they upload it with so many incidents to view. I've seen the replay of the Lockers tackle and it's not good. Red card well deserved and a probably 2-3 game ban. People need to remember this was the first red of his career since making his debut in 2002ish with this type of tackle being out of character.

Credit where it's due though, playing a man down for so long deserves some praise'"
As high tackles go it was pretty mild, at least in terms of recklessness. The force of the collision makes it look bad but if you actually look at the technique of the tackle he is attempting to wrap both arms around the attacker's chest, it's the step that does him and he's too committed to pull out. A bad outcome and no option but to give a red card but it wasn't intentional, malicious or even reckless, just accidental.

| Was working last night so only just seen the incident, it's a pretty bad one and worthy of a couple of games.
With regards to the result I couldn't believe we won it at the death (still waiting to see the tries yet), but it is typical of this season...how many last minute wins is that now? Can't believe we are top of the league!!!
Any injuries to report? Something about Sam being injured, let's hope he's fine for next week.
We should be bolstered next week by Mossop, Crosby and FPN. That will give Leeds something to think about.

Uh-oh, a Rhino's reappeared on here.
I guess Leeds must have finally won a match.

If you don't bother to go to the game when you live in the locality then you are not really a fan and therefore your views are invalid. It's simple.:icons39ad_files/4821-1859san_c-msnicons.jpg |

Quite a few Wigan Fans said it was reckless, I don't know where your wrap arms around the chest is coming from it was a swinging arm into the jaw area, unless you are referring to another incident in the game. Looks like a 3 game ban with an EGP.
