| LMS would probably be the best forward in the Wigan team if he signed.

He would be the fifth best second rower. But possibly the best prop

Ha! We need to some serious beef in the front row. I don't think LMS is that; I've never really rated him. And saying he would be improvement on our current squad is, unfortunately, damning with faint praise.
On Eastmond, I don't buy this idea that a spell in union 'spoils' players. Sure, there's been one or two cases where players have returned to league and not succeeded, but Eastmond, unlike some, is still young enough and fit enough to play SL. If anything, I'd say his time in Bath has been good for him. He arrived there with a bit of a bad rep as a 'wild child'. He adapted his game and earned himself a regular spot in the back-line of probably the second best side in the country, and got to the edge of the England squad too. Now that it looks like his RUWC hopes have been extinguished, I don't see why he couldn't be tempted back. I would love to see him at the DW.

I agree completely with you. Eastmond can play 1-7, has pace and just as importantly is a great place kicker. The answer to our problems in the backs I'd say.

| I've seen a fair bit of him at Bath. He can certainly pick a pass, too, like a 'proper' half-back. It stands out in union cos so few seem to have that skill! And his running game is excellent.
I was there that night in Huddersfield when the teenage Eastmond and Sam Tomkins beat Benji Marshall and the Kiwis. Love to see then re-united.

LMS won't happen, you never see top players go from one top SL club to another. Eastmond at centre of Sarginson goes would be good though

| LMS to Wigan won't happen but to be fair to him, when LMS is motivated and aggressive he can be one hell of a player. He was brilliant (if I remember correctly) on Good Friday. The problem with him is at times he can go into hiding a bit but I have been impressed with him recently.

| LMS is a quality back rower when he fancies it, he waltzes through games though at times which stops him from potential international recognition. But IMO he's a pretty poor front rower.

| A lot has been said over the last few weeks about how bad our props are, so I suggest that Shaun Wane is kept away from any news outlet wether it be TV, Radio or Newspapers, otherwise you may get what you wish for.
Ryan Baily has been released by Castleford.

| It's good to see Bailey now being shown up for the talentless coat tail rider that he was at Leeds. He worked quite well in the Leeds side by basically just being a wind up merchant (a bit like Masoe at Saints) but his actual rugby talent is minimal.

| Outstanding tonight.
Result is.....
Crosby best game all year. Flower at it. Clubb brilliant. Mossop ... meh, looked good for 2 minutes after he got stood on.
Credit where it is due however. Generally good tonight. Nice to see them stand up rather than expecting the wingmen and centres take the hard yards.
