| A close match for 60 minutes but then it will be a Wigan cake walk. Wigan by at least 20 points

| If it's a messy weather affected game with lots of errors Wigan 12-Hull FC 16. If the weather is fine and an expansive game Wigan 28-Hull FC 12.
You need to pick yourselves up from the canvas and strike a knockout blow. Jammy sods that you are i can see you doing it.

| Wigan have been very poor recently, I wonder if they can turn it round for the final.

| For me there are no underdogs in this game.
If Hull F.C. replicate their performance against Warrington then it will take something very special from a Wigan side that have been below par to beat them.
Not confident at all.

Me either to be honest, looking back I remember being far more confident before the '10 Grand Final and the '11 Cup Final. The comparative lack of excitement from our camp is a bit disconcerting too, look at the Hull board if you don't know what I mean.

A Hull FC win it is then
I'll stick with my original prediction
WIGAN 19 - FC 24

That's because Madge was at the helm and we played a different style of rugby i.e. low error rate and good field position. We drained the life out of Saints and contained Leeds (even though we didn't play well). with Waney's style, it all depends on the ball sticking!

Wire were shocking, you can't turn over so much ball and win a game (which incidentally they nearly did).

..... as well as the players being up for it from the first minute. We looked very lethargic early doors in both semis last year. A stark contrast with the teams of the Maguire era who would get three tries on the board in the first 20 minutes in big games

| For the very first time ever, and I have been to many cup finals since watching my first in 1958. It is the first time I am not confident of a win.
I suspect the game will be close, and I hope we do win. But my oh my, we have played some rubbish of late.

| I've just cleaned all three bathrooms, the kitchen, playroom, dining room, conservatory, scrubbed all the floors, moved all my kayaking gear out to the shed, put a couple of loads through the washing machine, pegged it all out, hoovered upstairs and I'm about to go out on my bike.
Is this what they call "nervous energy"?
