Interesting maybe I am going back further than the last 4.
Anyway Huddersfield is almost in Lancashire
Can`t see more than 15 to 16 ,000 attending which would make the Galpharm look a tad empty if it is there this time round.

| Why is there such a petty issue in you going to Huddersfield to play Leeds. If Leeds played at any main Lancashire option it would have given Wigan an undoubted advantage, as you are not far from all.
At Huddersfield it is 38 miles for you to travel to and 23 for Leeds to travel to. Huddersfield is the nearest possible Yorkshire venue for you.
The only option that would be any fairer than the Galpharm is Oldhams Boundary Park, which is 38 miles for Leeds and 28 miles for Wigan.
Even if you went to Salfords ground it is less than 18 miles for Wigan and 38 miles for Leeds.
By contrast, Huddersfield and Warrington playing at the Salford ground is just about exactly the same for both teams for travelling to, so an absolute fair venue.
I think your whining about the venue is just simply childish and unfounded.

Why should we always have to put oursleves out and travel further when its supposed to be at a neutral venue? Just because we travel in numbers wherever we go and Leeds fans get a nose bleed when they go past Bradford doesnt make it right does it?

So typical Wigan fan you are suggesting it should be played in your back yard, as you are too scared to play in a neutral environment?
Where in Lancashire, considering I have given you the geographical mileage, other than Boundary Park, is a better "neutral" venue than the Galpharm?
Playing at any other Lancashire venue is akin to Leeds playing at Elland Road or Odsal. That's not neutral.

When was the last time Leeds played a CC Semi-Final at a ground in Lancashire?

Obsessed with Lancashire I see. Open your eyes and put away the bias.
Galpharm is away from Leeds and short of the border to Lancashire. It makes perfect sense that a yorkshire side (other than Huddersfield) would play a "neutral" game at the Galpharm, when playing a Lancashire side.

so its fine for us to travel 38 miles as you have to travel 23.........but you wont travel 38 miles as we would then only have 18 miles to go........ so those 5 miles make all the difference.....

| we are used to it......since 1963 we have had 11 semis against Yorkshire teams and had to play 9 of them in Yorkshire, that's how fair the RFL are with Neutral venues

I have not said it's fine at all. But yet you find it fair that a "neutral" venue is one team travelling 20 miles further than the other team, but think it's not when it's 15 miles.
I already said that the Salford stadium is a perfect "neutral" venue for Warrington and Huddersfield as you couldn't get any more "neutral" in terms of equal mileage for both teams. But why should both semi finals be played there? Why do you think it is fair to whine like a child for Wigan playing in Lancashire, but think it is fair for both Yorkshire sides to go to Lancashire? Admit it, you are been biased.
You have to realise that there is a vast gap of hill land between Yorkshire and Lancashire, which means their is no Yorkshire ground on the border. The nearest to the border been Oldham in Lancashire, and Huddersfield in Yorkshire.
Wigan fans appear so stupid on here that they don't seem to understand the difference between "neutral" and going over the border.
