The RFL should have jumped on the new salford stadium bandwagon. They could have made it something special in a great location.

Asside from that, if Leeds United ever want to build a new stadium or totally revamp Elland Road etc. the RFL should try and be a part of it and make it our home. That could be very sustainable.

To have a state of the art facility like Twickenham you need to build it over a number of years, RL didn't do it.

A national RL stadium could be very unique, a state of the art arena but with huge standing areas as well behind the goals. It would be magic.

The RFL should have bought and developed Odsal years ago.

Not a bad shout, something they could still do in the future. Doesn't the RFL make quite a decent profit these days? Could this money not be invested in a national RL stadium? It would benefit RL massively for the future.

If the RFL were to build a new stadium it would have to be a very good business idea.Just look at the cost of the new Wembley?the RFL could not afford that,and if we did build our own ground what would be the capacity?a club averaging 15-18000 would just about look ok in a 35000 stadium.I still dont think its too late to take over Odsal. I agree with Rogues it should have been taken over and developed when the game was really booming in the60s
