| I had to leave the game early (about ten minutes), thankfully, had to work, and walking away all I could hear was the Wigan fans.

Seems you can't read.If you carry on being a WUM and bringing nothing in the form of "discussion" then you'll take a break.Take it as a warning!

I have 5k+ posts on here pal, not everything is posted on here because it annoys me. This is a good example, it never annoyed me, it made me laugh, as I've witnessed proper football fans do the chants and create the atmosphere, your lot make a mockery of it.
And what does it have to do with me? Not too much, but when the only straw Wigan fans seem to be clutching at is their 'wowzers' support at a game, I can't let that happen. They simply shouldn't have anything to clutch at.

| My headache just gone, we will stick together, great drumming, handled the " steward well ", I said to one you must dread Wigan fans coming here, to be fair he had a laugh.
Two policeman were stood watching us at the end from pitchside and they were having a good laugh, Rugby is a lot different than football but unfortunately some " stewards do not realise that "

| Not to stoke any fires but on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go. Doing that woahh/clap thing you do.
Wire did make a lot of noise but that was to be expected being in the lead.
I think you just need to stop acting like young females about it.
Wigan fans applaud their support and Wire their own, how strange.

39110_1363272058.jpg Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good
-
sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league
-
Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate
-
the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever
-
Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go
-
Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know

| Love the wire fans coming on here taking the mick because we robbed a song... when the one they sing about us is also directly stolen from football
I don't have a problem with taking some songs and changing the words... as long as it improved the atmosphere.... I like some originality as well though.
'went to rome' has taken off at our end now, fans of other teams will soon stop singing it as happened with unitedin football.

Warrington led 16-2 in Saturday's Grand Final, but their joy was short-lived as Wigan roared back to win the Super League title and extend the Wire's 58-year wait to be champions:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_10174.png |

You have lost me there. Our support at a game is the only straw Wigan fans have to clutch at?

| I was at the game as a neutral, and thought the atmosphere was pretty good from both sets. Was expecting to see the wigan walk but instead you just got noisier, fair play. As a neutral really hope the final is between you two

TBH I've never really understood the thing about fans having a go about people 'stealing' songs. There are very very few songs which are original these days, and who gives a frig whether another club had sung it first.
I like hearing fans get behind their teams, no matter what they sing or chant.

It's just something for someone to troll over and pick at. It's purely for the purpose of winding up opposition fans. I really don't know why people respond to it.
