Defending his player? What nonsense... if a player is punching the hell out of another and another player comes in to take action that is defending. Briers was just starting a riot, should of left it to the ref... it was gonna be seen by the video ref so Tomkins would of been called up anyway.

Rubbish Defence, toothless in attack (epitomised by a limp 2nd row performance). How many times did Warrington get over the gainline compared to us? Very poor.

Bad day at the office, I think quite a few expected this after last week's effort - I know I said to a Wire fan yesterday I thought we'd find it tough to rise to this. To be fair Warrington have played their cup final today and had an absolute belter. They've won the ruck all day. We look tired, jaded and not sharp at all. Dare I say it Sam even looks nervous.

Wire have blown us away but some of our play has been so dumb its unreal at times.

I was a little suprised by Briers, he normally sticks to sneaky digs rather than outright fighting. your right it should have been left to the ref but in games when you see something happen to a team mate your temper flares.
