| Quote: NickyKiss "Just seen the incident and what the hell was the pointy nosed twitching idiot shaking his head at? If that's now an illegal tackle the games done for.
Maybe he was just shaking his head saying 'I told him he needed to lose some weight before his knees buckled'.'"
Or maybe he knew it was a game changer. Ridiculous to say the injury was deliberate, though. He's every right to be upset at the result, but it's a dummy-spit of epic proportions to suggest malice.
Quote: NickyKiss "Well I must have made it up then !
He did. My first impression was that it wasn't a try, but the video replay showed it was fine... just.
As for King, he wasn't in touch, it's Charnley who takes down the corner flag.
We were the better team all over the pitch in the end. That's the reason we won. Yes Hodgson had a nightmare, whilst Sam and Charnley had two of their best performances for a long time.

| If that was a bad tackle then the RFL need to re write their Level 2 coaching course as Coley used the technique they teach!! The tutor on the course also explained that at Pro clubs they teach 16s through to first team about wrapping the ball up holding the player up and then taking the player down with the legs! He worked at Warrington!!!

| What everyone has missed is that only Wigan do this and the tackles so similar by every other team are different. The reason is obvious, wrong shirt colour.
Lets all grow up, the Coley tackle is done 200+ times every weekend, just an accident.

Yes it did, but do you think that Solomona could have lasted another 30 minutes before being exposed defensively?

Good question. When he was being carried off his gut was exposed for all to see.
My wife doesn't watch much RL these days for various reason but she had to sit through a re-run of the game to indulge me and my eldest son. She has no idea who Solomona is but when she saw him with his shirt up and his gut showing no prompting from me or my son she just said "He's too fat to be a Rugby League player". When I said he can be very good for a short time she said "Well that's just not healthy, he's going to have a heart attack soon".

It makes you wonder about a few things regarding his application in training. I mean Wire are obviously a fit team. They have to be to play the way they do so does Solomona participate fully in training as much as the rest of the squad? Looking at him you'd have to think he doesn't. If I was a Wire fan I'd also be concerned about what kind of shape he'll come back in should the injury keep him out for any length of time

All the momentum and possession was with them, they were scoring at will because of him and the space he was creating, I dont think he would have needed to defend.

With Solomona, I get the impression that would be his view as well.

| Amazing isn't it Pie People? In a match that was a superb advert for our game, what has once again reared it's ugly head?
Here we are, near the end of the season, and still we have Wigan forwards attempting to lock a players legs together and driving in against the knee joint with their shoulders.
And then we have the more gormless amongst you attempting to defend this imported Aussie idea, before squacking when other teams hand out a bit of pain as a consequence of your dubious tactics.
Congrats on avoiding us in the next round, and I look forward to seeing you at Wembley.... collecting your runners up medals.

| ah yet more drivel - don't you EVER get fed up.
The referee saw nothing wrong, the VR saw nothing wrong, John Kear saw nothing wrong, Brian Noble Jonathon Davis saw nothing wrong - several Warrington fans have posted on this forum saying they saw nothing wrong, only Tony Smith seems to have seen anything wrong.Oh an you with your infinite RL wisdom.
