| Quote: Moe syslak "In 2009 warrington beat 2 out of the top 4 and yourselves. Okay, so we did well avoiding saints and leeds that year. In 2010 we played 1 championship side (arguably the best) and 4 super league sides which included a 60-6 mullering against a top huddersfield side away from home and a destruction of the champions in the final. I'm sure if we had beaten saints in last years final people would be saying that we had it easy because we never played leeds.'"
I'm not sure that is what people are saying to be fair. I dont think anybody would doubt that winning the CC is a great achievement, and you are obviously going to have to beat at least a couple of top sides on the way. My problem has been people on here making out that winning the CC is as much of an achievement as winning the league/GF is, because clearly due to the formats of the competitions, it isn't.

RFL Official"Right Adam you only pick the Warm Balls. OK"[/i
Adam Fogerty"yeah warm Balls got it"[/i
Claire Balding"and we can go live to the Challenge cup draw Adam fogerty is about to draw the first Home side... O Jesus He's got his scrotum out ...Oh how embarrasing he's drawn Two balls out at once. Brian What do you make of that?"[/i
Brian Noble" home games for Wigan and Saints, just waiting for the Harry potter Lad to get his nuts out of the ice bucket and we can find out the away teams".[/i

| What counts as a hard draw?
Obviously not Wigan away because Warrington have won the last two times we've been there and also the last time we played on a neutral ground?
So who is a hard team worthy of beating? I can only presume Wigan fans are referring to the mighty red vee of Saints?

Saints and Wire get the bye yet again. A decent run of draws can go along way to you winning the cup as proven over the last few years.'"

| So the only play off standard game gets ignored for tv. I wouldn't have put our game on, it isn't likely to be close. Huddersfield v Les Catalans will be a great game and should have been picked. I think Salford v Hull KR would be a closer game than Cas v Wakey but I can understand them wanting to show the dingle derby.

It's 10th v 1st last time we played them it was freezing, we were off form, and still put more than 40 past them. Hudds v Cats on the other hand is 2nd v 7th and Les Cats are in great form, managing to beat Huddersfield 13-12 last week, as well as beating us and Warrington during the season. You don't agree it'll be a better game?

You could argue that Huddersfield v Catalan would mean country having swathes of empty seats on their television sets.

That game on the BBC would have been an awful advert for our game.

It would, but at least we would be showing a great game. Is any neutral really going to get into the sport after watching us batter Bradford on bbc? If we showed the best games maybe the crowds would start to take care of themselves.

| It'll be interesting to see how many Bradford fans attend this home cup tie against the champions. Might be a bit more of an accurate representation of how many people would be going to regular SL fixtures if it wasnt for the outrageously cheap season tickets at Odsall this year.
