Yup. It was that or A) being gloriously independent but dead, or B) being crushed under the Roman sandal and getting no say whatsoever in anything. Not a massive amount of career options for Britons once the Romans landed.  On the upside, the central heating and bath houses were lovely - if you had access to them!

Why is there a need for a "name" or a reason to seperate youselves from other fans.
Why not just be "Wigan Rugby League Fans".

just re-read your comment. i do think the shied is similar to the one used for the community foundation, but it doesn't really matter.
