I shouldn't get angry, it's bad for me. I've read the foregoing and some posts are annoying but I've also read:-
www.thisishullandeastriding.co.u ... ticle.html
The only excuse I can come up with for Messrs Agar and Cooke is that either they didn't go to the match or were watching the barmaid too closely. Perhaps they got their report from a seven-year old.
Last season Leeds coach made outrageous allegations of kicking at Danny Maguire when he lay injured having made a foul, off-the-ball tackle on Carmont. I had a very good view of the incident and can confirm that no-one went within a few feet of Maguire and the nearest player was Piggy who appear to be shaking his finger at him and giving him a piece of his mind.
It was an obvious attempt at distracting the attention from two off-the-ball tackles within seconds of each other which changed the probable result of the match.
No team likes to lose, but there appears to be a paranoia about regarding losing to Wigan in particular. Well we've got news for them, they'll have to get used to it because it will happen!
The RFL will have to suck it up! Tough! Unless, of course, they decide to change to league table at the end of the season and put it into alphabetical order instead of points won! All things appear possible, I'm afraid and the White Rose fraternity might well persuade them that this is the fairest way to do things.

Maybe a back up halfback, someone with a bit of experience on a short term deal.
Big tall strong running second rower, like a McMeekin or Sironen type back rower.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_20333.gif |

| I love it when opposition fans and coaches say
"Wigans tackling technique needs looking at as they are ruining the spectacle of the game" as that really translates into
"Wigans tackling technique is a well oiled machine and because they are doing it so well they must be cheating, our team hasn't got a prayer up against them".

Paul Cooke is no fan of Hull FC and believe me the feeling is mutual, but even he can put his animosity to a side when it comes to this.

It just shows he dislikes Wigan RLFC more than he does Hull FC. Nothing more.
It's a very puerile and childish article he's written, no better than many of the comments from both sides on here.

So you think that everyone who talks about Wigan's bullying tactics just dislikes Wigan and there is really nothing in it?

Bullying tactics, as you call them, is what rugby league is all about. The successful teams from all over the world are the ones who manage to bully the opposition

Look at the types of offences Hull were penalised for on Sunday, compared to Wigan's. Ours were almost all technical, Hull's were almost all foul play.

| No they weren't, just the ones you choose to remember, but that's not really the issue is it, we're talking about Wigan's play in general, not just one game.

If you actually think that saints achieved their success by going on the field and being nice and friendly to the opposition then you really are living on fantasy island. Names that spring to mind Fairleigh, Fozzard, Pitt, Nickle, Matutia, even going back to Ward. All players who were agressive and bullied the opposition.
Now if you are saying you dont want hull to play that way then get used to not winning anything.

Really?
Would you care to elaborate on that one, and explain how the hell late tackles, high tackles and punching can be deemed 'technical offences'?

I'm not saying we weren't guilty of that most teams are, but we were done for quite a few technical offenses too.
