Congratulations on beating a hull side with only 1 win in 5, at home by 2 points!!! Yeah what a win that is. Good one forrest gump.
I'll cry myself to sleep tonight that we only beat Hull by 2 points........honest I will
They played really well today and we were poor. We're not being helped by a few injuries at the minute but the squads strong and remains unbeaten.
Times are hard being a Wigan fan right now

[quote="Headingley Rhino"]Great win yesterday at our place, there is no denying you are probably the best team in SL as you have proved it all year so I think it's justice done that you have got to Old Trafford. I thought wigan was excellent in the second half and showed why you guys are top dogs this year.: |

| As soon as i got home it was showing the highlights. Didnt show initial fight but shows the Joel incident and the rest. Looking at the replay of Westermans try that was a dodgy grounding aswell looks as if he bounces the ball.

However, I do feel Ganson should have diffused the situation by sending Joel and Yeaman to the bin after the punch-up.'"
Bingo, they both should have been sin binned for the fight. That said - who's bright idea was it to give the ball to J. Tomkins straight after the fight? He was always going to do something stupid.

Never a try.
It was right infront of where I was sat and I couldn't believe it when Ganson awarded the try. Even Westerman looked like he couldn't believe it and to be fair I don't blame Ganson. His view was obstructed and he got given the decision by the ingoal judge.

Briscoes was right infront of us aswell and that was a try without doubt. He planted his feet in goal and put the ball down between his legs. It was a fantastic finish from a fantastic young player.
If Ian Lenagan just happened to be looking for a replacement outside back and was willing to part with a chunk of cash he'd be my choice.

| Thought Phelps was very solid for them throughout the game, considering it's his first start in months. Could very well end up being one of their best players this season.

| Quote: Fames "For those of us who have to travel a fair distance to get to a game ( almost a 100 mile round trip for me and my daughter) a 3.00 pm Sunday kick off is far better than 8.00 pm Friday when you are travelling on the motorway in the evening rush hour traffic. '"
Speak for yourself! I travel form Chester and have to negotiate Thelwall but Friday's are miles better. The way home is quiet traffic-wise
Quote: Fames "I know the atmosphere can be a bit less exciting for Sunday afternoon games, but there are advantages for some - it's always nice to make a day of it on Sunday rather than rushing to a game after work and then drive straight back, which still results in a late (after 11.30 pm) return.
'"
Well I set off at 1:15pm and sat down in my seat at 14:50. I have just got in at 18:20 and all my time was basically travel - game - travel so there wasn't much of a day of it in the sense of what I mean by making a day of something so basically Sunday games take all of my Sunday which for me and my Wigan supporting son is fine but the the other two family members who for various reasons don't and can't go to games it's nit much fun.

For reference, Wigan is like the Roman Empire. Warrington is like the pillow fort I built in my bedroom when I was 9. Ok, 26...

13-6 to Wigan. The four in a row Wigan got post sending off were particularly useful I think.
