wasnt a spear tackle, a spear tackle the hand has to be between the legs and drive the pl;ayed into the ground head first like a spear (hence the name). It was just a player over the horizontal.

Your allowed to compete for the ball in the air, but your not allowed to tackle player whilst he's in the air. Theres a difference between contact and a tackle in the air. The wigan player clearly went up to compete for the ball.

Meh i think a video ref at every game would be enough.
Refs just need to learn the rules properly (alibert)

I try and go to as many games as possible, its hard living in Cov and working on a Friday night.
