Carvell will appeal, which will be upheld, like I said on this forum earlier SKY will want them both playing, and what SKY want they get, that's why it was only a 1 match ban.
But hope they both play then no excuses.

He will be at the HJ on Friday morning at about 9am for a training session. Pop down and ask him or even better go toe to toe with him. or you could just gob off from behind your keyboard.

Before he left for Aus Morley went toe to toe plenty of times, he was abit of a hothead in his Leeds days, getting sent of for headbutting, and i seem to recall him decking a Saints player ( can't remember his name) and was sent off after 2 minutes. He had a few punch up's in the NRL aswell, since returning to superleague though he has curved his temper, but still gets his tackling all wrong sometimes, something he won't get right now he's in his 30s. Don't make him out to be some sort of coward though because he hasn't gone toe to toe with someone in a while.

never seen him going toe to toe, not here or the NRL. HE was always doing the high shots over there.

I think Morley is lucky, the more you see it, the worse it seems, it was a delibrate attack to the head.

Carvell is lucky its only 1 match.

The real problem though is the inconsistency of the panel and their decisions.

He must have been toe to toe to get sent off for headbutting and punching.

not really, can be in a scrum and headbut and punch as you can be during and after a tackle. Doesnt need someone to retaliate.

The real problem I have with the Morley one is that he didn't even get a fine and a warning. He got found not guilty! I mean come on Not guilty.............so they're basically saying it was a legal challenge

If thats allowed in the game now I hope we've got Briers and Myler lined up for a few this weekend. I wouldn't normally agree with challenges like that but they've obviously been legalised.
