I wouldn't generalise and say all Wire fans are scum - the vast majority of Wire fans I know personally are decent blokes, with quite a few being very good mates of mine - none have ever been in trouble at an RL game. Its unfair to tar them all with the same brush - their club has a minority of idiots like other clubs including ours, with that number swelled by a group of chavs just looking for trouble - the type that in other towns like ours with a reasonable sized football team tend to follow them instead.

Doesn't mean they are all bad. Even on here, a lot of fans that come across bitter and twisted are probably alright in a normal context, their attitude is just a by-product of supporting a team that has been historically unsuccessful compared to their local rivals.

Every dog has its day, its theirs today - let them enjoy it. We will just have to accept the fact that unfortunately a lot of their supporters haven't the experience of success and winning big games to do it with good grace and without significant gloating.

christ almighty listen to you all. Every single team in every single sport will have hooligans amongst them. As it is a big occasion for us a few more came out today than usual. Just becasue one person or one group of people are t0ss pots doesnt mean the whole town is. We could all say wiganers are all coke snorting smack heads like hock but we wont. We could say wiganers are all negative, sad bar stewards who all they do after a fantastic game of rugby is complain about a handful of people but we dont.
