No idea in terms of numbers, but I know there are some Wigan fans in Harrogate, Batley, Bradford, Huddersfield and Holmfirth, amongst others. Nowhere near as many as travel down from Cumbria, though.

Surely you'd be better off having a go at the people who couldn't be bothered to get off their backsides to go to vote.
The BNP would have got a lot smaller share of the vote if people had made the small effort to actually go and exercise the democracy we fortunately have. |

I'm guessing you didn't read the manifestos of any of the parties.
I'd also say that most people didn't know what policies the parties were standing on.
I'd be even more confident in saying that most people only consider there to be three parties when it comes to elections.
If people did a bit of research I'm sure they'd find a party that represented their own personal views. It's pure laziness and apathy to say 'All politicians are bent, therefore I'm bnot going to vote.' |
