Unfortunates like you slagged him off before the Kiwi series. He certainly looked the part in that series and most Stains fans have been noticeably reticent to criticise him after that.
Strange to see this surfacing now - sadly for you, you've picked the worst possible time to have a pop at our captain.
Lockers has been superb for us this season. He's the best LF in the competition by a mile at the moment. If Wigan had another 3 or 4 players as good as Lockers we'd be top of the league.'" thats your opinion not mine

| Quote: clifford "it will be Coleys turn again next you watch!! some people are allowed to play poorly and never attract crtiscism where as others cant do any right such as Coley and Piggy and Amos. It wasnt wigans night on Friday despite a pretty heroic team effort. Lots of people said that if the team makes the effort then they would be happy. Well they did make the effort, all of them , against a good hard side. Lets support the players. It took Pat a year to settle down and start playing well, lets give an inch to amos and piggy too.'"
Excellent post!
I really do think that piggy will come good for us, ok, he hasn't been outstanding, but his record speaks for itself and Im going to give him time. We have the same pack as last year yet IMO they have greatly improved, is piggy the reason for it? No idea, but he must be a factor
Oh, and I really hope he doesn't read these boards haha, the bloke would have no confidence!l

Murrells improved hugely over the past 18 months and was very impressive on Friday night.
As for O'Loughlin he's simply top draw at the moment and it's great to see. Too many ill informed people have written him off in the past without actually paying attention to his game but this year even the knockers are finding it hard to have a go. He's been a superb player for Wigan and for GB when he's played and seems to have kicked on a level this year.
Good games fro GB/England are things Sinfield/Wilkin etc can't list on their cv's.

| I don't really rate morrell. It's only my opinion, but he just doesn't spring to mind when I think of good lose forwards, however I don't get to watch him every week, I did think he was quiet in the Wigan game though.
I am chuffed to bits with lockers current form ATM, and I really hope he keeps it up.

Murrell is very Sinfield like, except Murrell can hit people hard , that's not a bad player to replicate.

| I have a high strict standard when it comes to Wigan players.
Half way through the season, I look at Riddell to evaluate what we have seen so far.
Tick Box fashion
Played well in most games? x
Set a professional example to the youngsters? x
Looked fit and active in the games? x
Worked hard to keep his place? x
Shown experience and leadership qualities? x
Been the best no.9 at our club? x
I expect more from a seasoned Aussie.
