Thats standard practise with all clubs. It makes no odds really if they turned up or not they've still paid to go which to the club is all that matters.
I don't think it was less than 10,000 myself. In fact I thought it was a great crowd considering it was Celtic. |

As Bilko has said Cuthberts is a 2 minute walk from JJB.
Honestly some people will moan about anything, the club organise a festival with hundreds of kids taking part, we get the highest attendance of the weekend against one of the worst supported clubs (who are also at the bottom of the table) and STILL people are coming on here complaining.

It looks as though that the club are aiming for this one to sell out and are heavily marketing the game with offers and using a special logo.
The way we are playing at the moment, classing the Leeds game as the 'big one' is pointless and quite random, as the standards between both teams are completely different and there aren't currently any comparisons or rivalries between the two clubs as they are far superior to us on the pitch.
All in all, it just goes to show how much our poor performances effect everything within the club from supporters to marketing. Not only is Ian Lenegan under pressure from supporters, he will also be under pressure from Mick Hogan to resolve the on field issues so that marketing can actually work.
The 'big one' v Leeds is just a game that we're not expected to win but if we do, we might get two points closer to 7th or 8th. Whoop-eee.

Judes is probably not too dis-similar in distance from the JJB than Cuthberts (maybe an extra 5 mins), so I don't see where you were coming from?

The actual crowd inside the ground was around 11,400. I was told after the game by someone who "did" know. |
