| There will be some cracking games between those two sides later in the year. I think the club can be pretty proud of the effort tonight.
Sandow is clearly a talent but Gidley really impressed me to night. Matty Smith should watch the replay of his performance over and again to see what a half without a killer running game should be doing.

| very disappointed with the farrell incident tonight..... it was a clear attempt to injure ratchford.
Wigan were on the back foot he decided to try and take a player out.... it was clearly an attempt to injure someone.. you dont see it very often.. but tonight it was there for all to see.
disgraceful.

Based on what our half-backs have produced this year, next to nothing, Tomkins is easily the best half back at the club even if he's not played there for years.

Someone's fishing. Ratchford wasn't even hurt by the incident but lay back down after he threw the ball and realised Farrell might get in to trouble. Football antics creeping into our game sadly. Enjoy the win but as a Wigan fan I'm very positive about tonight especially 2nd half.

I dont often agree with a wire fan but he/she is totally correct,it was disgraceful, something you would see at an amateur game
Farrell has totally changed his attitude since wane became coach
He's gone more aggressive but very very niggly, shame really as it doesn't do him justice as he's a very good player

Lucky to get the pen I thought. Not a clue why the replays weren't ever played at full speed because had they been there would have looked even less in it.
Ratchford milked it for its full value.

| i wasn't trolling, i just genuinely think it was a disgraceful thing to do.
Ratchford is lucky he wasn't properly injured, as you can clearly see the intent to connect to the player with the knees... the ball was down before he even jumped in.
if you cant see that, and you think this is trolling, then maybe you need to watch rugby games properly.

| Farrell is nigly as we all know but he isn't someone to intentionally injure a player.
Your accusations are way off and completely unfounded.

I honestly believe there was very very little in it. At full pace that wouldn't have looked half as bad. I think Ratchford made a big deal of it but I suppose Farrell gave him an opportunity to do that and win his side a pen.
I'm looking forward to some proper battles between the two sides later in the year. I've seen plenty of back slapping on your forum tonight about the win and you were good value for it but Wigan will be a totally different side the next time we play with any luck.

SL is definitely poor if you're watching Leeds or Saints or a side with predictable attacking moves. Not so if your watching
Hull, Catalans, Widnes or Wire.

jumping into a player, already on the floor, leading with his knees says otherwise im afraid.... i dont see how you can see it any other way.
each to their own though.... enjoy the rest of your season.

| I didn't think there was that much in the Farrell incident. Flops onto try-scorers; you see it after nearly every score, in both codes. My understanding always was that the 8-point try rule was brought in with the habit in mind of some full-backs to come sliding in feet-first (Billy Slater says hi!). I really didn't think there was much malicious contact here or intent to injure. Still I was surprised Wigan kept going to Gildart and Charnley all night with hat-trick hero Manfredi on the other wing. Warrington look comfortably the best side on the comp at the moment, and having the luxury of being able to bring on Ratchford, who did very well, after Sandow went off doesn't seem like a side too ravaged by injury to me.
