I think Burgess and Williams were the two main swingers on the Wigan front, they'll both be having a few weeks off.

Williams grading seems a little harsh. He threw a few but I don't see how it warrants a higher grade considering what some of the other players got.

I wonder if any will attempt to fight the charge, possibly on grounds of provocation or self defence.


Edit: Also, how the hell has their winger managed to avoid being cited for punching Burgess 2-3 times while on the ground and held in a tackle?

I don't think Williams was any worse than the other Wigan players and certainly the Bradford #10 and winger were the instigators.
I wonder if they'll take the egp and hope for a one game ban (or warning) so that they are available for the Leeds game?

Edit :- Williams won't be able to submit an egp as he's been cited for a grade D offence.

I'm surprised their winger isn't up for the three punches he put in on Burgess while he was being held down after a tackle.

Anyone know what ban Williams got?

According to the RFL disciplinary site he was due to complete his hearing today (Tuesday) but there is no sentence yet.
