I am sure I heard that they were closing a school in Hunslet and combining with one in Leeds as well.

It`s the RL version of the existing RU programme called `School of Hard Knocks`which has been going for a couple of years or more. No problem with that if it gives more exposure to RL in general and raises ST`s profile.......heaven knows there are few enough personalities in RL that can actually string a sentence together, including half of the existing SKY presentation team.

Must admit i find most players cringeworthy when they speak in front of ppl or cameras but Sam realky did ok. For someone young and going and doing somethibg like that i think he did really well and will hopefully keep improving.

I also think that opportunities to do stuff like this will make his rl a more enjoyable time for him.

Maybe they should get other rising stars involved in similar things?

I think the RL should let other existing players raise their media profile. I'm concerned Sam will be the only recognisable face in RL then to be signed by Union sinking RL further into their shadow.

A big problem is the actual players. Take the Leeds team by example out of Sinfield, Mcguire, Peacock, Burrow, JJB. I haven't heard the youngsters such as Watkins or BJB. Out of the 5 senior players only Sinfield and possibly Burrow the others sound like they could put a sentence together and sound intelligent enough to for the non RL public. It's not only Leeds but you can go through the most clubs and there will only be a handful of players that can speak as if English was their first language.

I think the next media star will Josh from what I have seen he is quite comftable in front of the cameras and sounds fairly intelligent.
