Same here. Get the win and come out with no injuries was what I wanted. Job done.

| Also agree, we went off the boil in the second half, the first was quite clinical though.

| I thought HKR 'upped' their game in the second half.
Certainly from the push on Sam, some niggle was injected into the game. IMHO it made it a better spectacle as it was looking like a total walkover.
We did take some pressure off the pedal, as seen by taking Hock off, I hope for a rest, for next weeks match.

| I think its hard not to take one eye off the ball when you've saints coming next week for a cup tie! Especially after seeing a broken leg happen! We always had enough in the tank after building that 26-0 lead. I ain't worried one bit! Won't happen next week!

Definetly. In fact it came really before half time when on 25-28 minutes they threw on all four subs. They looked far better from then on.

I agree with this. Plus a few calls from the ref. that went H.K.R's way, i.e. a kick that hit Finch, which wasn't played at, was given as 6 more tackles and they scored off it.

I thought this thread was referring to your relationship to Wigan Athletic and its ground

| The second half just bored me and a lot of games have this season. Some of the teams in this competition are complete garbage and we easily beat them without even getting out of 1st gear. It's no surprise that Wigan completely took the foot off in the 2nd half, bit annoying when you have Wigan -18 on the handicap though!

| There are 6 good teams in this league, the rest just make up the numbers and that is not said to disrespect but a sad fact. The league is not more competitive but the top 6 is. Tonight was a strange game. We were untouchable in the first half but with the injury to Bentham, a commanding league and one eye on the cup quarter final next week it was expected. Wigan will turn up next week for 80 mins and a fancy a Wigan win by 10-12 points

| we could have smashed hull kr for a lot more points bar our usual lack of concentration last night.they were ordinary to say the least.the intensity levels against lesser teams needs to be addressed.

not that well ever know what would happen if wed tried harder against hull kr, but id rather last nights performance followed by a destruction of saints rather than the other way round.

Disagree. There a 7 good teams who can all beat each other but some are just more consistant than others. If you look at it that way it is much closer than we have ever seen this league really.
The standard of the bottom half is shocking though. Bradford and sometimes Hull KR can match the big boys for periods of the game but will always get beat if those top 7 teams are on their game.
No shock to see the these top 7 teams are also the top 7 clubs with the best academy systems, best stadiums, best coaches, while also being the teams who seem to spend to the cap. This comp needs all teams to spend to the cap, because we will never have a full league of teams who can compete untill that happens. Being able to spend to the cap should be the main criteria on the super league application in my opinion. Getting to a NRC final or consistent 9th place finishes in super league shows nothing really.
An example is Fev, they can do well in the lower division and in one off games agains SL opposition, but in super league they wouldn't last because they couldn't be sustainable spending to the cap. This is why the RFL would probably rather have another French team in Toulouse for example to come in and spend to the cap and potentially be a good top 8 team.

| Every try they scored the second half came off the back of a dubious decision, it was absolutley ridiculous from Hicks. I hope that idiot isnt gonna get more games if Bentham is hurt badly.
