Most would agree that the Aussies are the best RL team in the world. They hammered the Kiwis again at the weekend. Yet the Kiwis are current World Cup and 4 Nations winners so based on competition results the Kiwis are the best RL team in the world.The Wire won more SL games but the Rhinos won the GF so the Rhinos are the best RL team in the super league. |

The hardest thing to do is to finish top over the course of 8/9 months therefore it should be rewarded with the biggest prize.
Its a rip off to think we all pay £200 plus on season tickets to watch games that don't matter.

Exactly. They might as well just have an 8 team league and have a 4 week play-off series, then have 11 months off season. |

the thing is every player, coach and spectator knows every year what is the goal- to win the grand final! You ask every warrington player what they would have prefered to win the grand final or the league leaders shield, the league leaders shield means nothing, 27 games are qualifiers for the playoffs, warrington qualified for the playoffs in first place but fell short when it mattered, get over it!
