I'm sure nothing much has changed in 18 years.

| We park on the streets close to wear that famous cafe is where the classic car owners go to, to compare their cars
Can't think what its called but it's only a ten minute walk and it's free and the car has been fine there everytime we have gone to an England game. Will find where it is and post later...

Found it on Google Maps. Its called Ace Cafe London and it is just off the A406, the North Circular Road. If you can park near Stonebridge Station, it is free to park on the streets around there, under the railway bridge infact. Then it's just a ten minute walk down Harrow Road (A404) which passes the Green Man which is a very good pub and Wembley Stadium is right there.
I recommend this place a lot to park as its free and gives you quick access to get out right away.

| I've looked at parking on the Wembley Park NCP, apparantly it's around 10/15mins walk to stadium and costs £1.50 on Saturdays, might be a bit of a nightmare getting out being so close to the stadium though, anyone ever parked here?

| Leave the car at home. Go for the weekend or overnight like most. Have a drink like most. Go to Covent garden on Sunday like most.
Going down in the car, not having a drink, and going home in the car doesn't sound like a good time to me.

| Theres a massive multi-storey car park next to a Travelodge in Watford. Train station near by as well takes you straight to Wembley.

I've used that site many times over for various events up and down the country including parking nr Manchester Airport for a mere £20 for 2 weeks (as opposed to over £50 for the "official" car parks)
We are there for the weekend, parking in Uxbridge for £9 for 3 days on a prive driveway in a residential area some 5 minutes walk from the tube station on the same Metropolitan line as Wembley.
I'd recommend this site to anyone and suggest you merely look for parking spaces near to similar tube stations that operate on the same line. Whilst the tube station will be busy after the game, the crowds do die down after an hour or so. I'd recommend you parking at a station North of Wembley as the crows on the tube tend to be heading South and the bright lights of London for their overnight stays!

I used that site last year. Plenty of places in the industrial area. I would highly recommend it. Straight in off the motorway with little traffic (although I did arrive early) then less than 5 mins walk to Wembley. Getting out after all depends on how swift you are. I left pretty much on the hooter and was in traffic for only 10 mins then motored on home. Stuff all the tube farce.
