I had quite a few of those calls and have just had another one today, only this time telling me about the bigone3 and how many discounted tickets would i be buying!!! Personally i hate these "cold calls" and they are becoming quite annoying, if i want to join the lotto then i will join, likewise if i want to take up the offer of discounted tickets then i will, but i don't want someone trying to force them on me over the phone.

I've had the lotto one a few times now and they did sound a bit desperate, probably is legit but didnt want to risk giving them my bank details over the phone and was also put off by the Huddersfield area code. I got the Big One 3 one the other day as well.

just ask them to send you details and they will do,i did that and it only costs £1 a week

It maybe genuine but its also just as annoying as the constant phonecalls that are trying to sell you, kitchens, mobile phones, insurance & holidays that you have won excl the flights

i had one ans asked them to post the details to my, they did and then rang me back a week later and then again a couple of days after that! I've also had a call about the big one 3

they used to go door to door...........usually Kieth Mills with a couple of helpers, or the late Gordon Harrison.

i think its still a £1 a week, with decent prizes.
not all fans know this, but the money they make goes into funding players through the academy.
there is a small army of door to door sellers who do the job for a pittance, and i would urge any one who support Wigan to join.........because at the end of the day, its helping home grown talent.

Not sure I'm happy with the club giving out my details to a random Telemarketing company, but meh..

I have had an agent collect from my door for years, never won a penny yet.
Not that I'm bothered, as long as the money is going into development.

I have been doing the Wigan lotto for 10 years at least, maybe longer.

Won £200 once I think and the odd tenner.

I am deffo out of pocket

Good cause though so i shall continue.

Yeah had it before i have won 18 mill but had to send a check off for 10k couldn't send it fast enough drinks are on me

Correct, I've spoken to Keith Mills in the Lotto office today and he's confirmed that this is a legitimate marketing company based in Huddersfield who are doing the calling on behalf of the club, all the players have signed up to it along with members of staff, it helps massively in the funding for development and the search for new players needed to keep the conveyor belt of talent at Wigan.

Can we please refrain from naming the individual please fellas?
