The real star turn at the moment is giant second-rower Jordan Cox - he has scored 11 tries in his last three games (including two on his first team debut vs York) - and is rated by many good judges as the best young prospect in the city of Hull.
It's also worth noting that at under 18 level, Hull KR are the only unbeaten side.
With Hull FC also doing well too, there is plenty of talent knocking around in the city after a few relatively lean years.'"
And Kristian Bell, i watched him in the u/18 (dvd) v Wigan a few weeks ago and he was outstanding.

| Liam Carberry was brilliant today as was Matty Russell. Special mention for Jonny Walker, hope all is well.

Carberry was very very good today and his try was sensational. Also quite impressed with Blake Mahovic at centre, strong and pacey but his passing needs plenty of work.
Craig Hall gave Stefan Marsh a torrid time.

| Mahovic is a good prospect, needs to learn when to use his winger. Similar to Marsh when he made a break. On another note Amos Roberts looked a shadow of himself in my opinion, even on the intercepted try he looked lethargic when running.

From what I've heard his knee is still causing him problems meaning he's no longer as confident running with the ball. He's probably much better playing in the halves where you don't necessarily need to have great pace or do as much running than at fullback where he's always busy and always running. It's a shame if the knee is still the problem because it's hard to see how he'll make a full recovery.

He did what he had to do today, nothing special and was ok. It's a shame to be honest we all know what an explosive player he can be, but when he got the ball in our 20 and set off for the line today, he looked really lethargic.

| Can't we pension Roberts off if he isn't fit for purpose - certainly that's the approach that Alex Ferguson takes and you can't criticise his track record. Didn't we do this with Seu Seu?

| Just been told that Wire U20's got beat today by Saints. Apparently Wire missed seven kicks at goal.
If it's true then Wigan will go top of the U20's by two clear points and still have game in hand.

| Well done to all the lads.
What kind of hooker is Carberry? Seeing as Rogues is a big fan of his, I presume it's safe to say he ain't a scooter hooker.

| Carberry is a very good attacking hooker (likes to scoot).

| I have really high hopes for Carberry. He is very much a direct scooting hooker but he does it very well. Logan on the flip side to me is more of a left or right hooker, looking for the pass. If we could get them both progressing on in the next 2-3 years, that could be an excellent variation for us.
