yeah m8 i wuz at cass i must av missed them then wot were they, can i just say im not avin a go at any of our fans because i think we have a top following with top people,its just that i would love to hear a few more diffo ones,

I particularly enjoyed the 'Sheeerrrrrwwwiiinnn' and of course the old favourite 'Sweat band give us a wave' (he did!)

Theres no point in postin chants on here because they never catch on. Ive put a few ideas on here over the years and the only one that ever caught on was the "Trent will tear you apart" one. The best thing to do is get in a big group at an away game and just start singin any new song you've made up and hope people listen and learn.

Sadly most rugby fans don't seem to be able to grasp chants with more than one line in them.

For Roberts i would go with the John O'Shea chant later copied by the mousers for Torres (with completely different words). This should be simple enoughhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v

I suggested that ages ago, I just rekon people would take to the other one better because we have done it before.

I personally would prefer the O'Shea chant, ive always liked it from following United, sounds quality with a couple of thousand singin it. But your probably right, the other one would catch on better. We'll see.

True! I do love the song. I think we just need more variation in general really. It would be easier if we had more big away trips so people could pick them up better. Most people don't bother trying to join in though.

His Name is Amos He is a showman With Red and white upon his back He makes you look crap He has a sidestep you can only dream of and whilst he is a Star and a Wigan Warrior Who can ask for more Amos is gonna score...... then repeat

These where the first names that came into my head! I like the one we sing now but they are all past players. We could also use the simple ones like;
"He runs to the left,
he runs to the righttt,
Amos Roberts,
he makes you look sh**e"
or maybe;
"There’s only one amos roberts,
one amos roberts,
he used to be sh**e,
but now hes alright,
walking in a wigan wonderland"

although "alright" is an understatement
