The WSXIII are entering the midlands merit league in 2008.
We will be playing several teams including the Crewe and Nantwich Steamers.

I'm trying to set up a meeting for around Wednesday 19th March somewhere in Chester. We're now ready to kick things on in Chester so anybody interested in getting involved with the club at any level to meet at The Oaklands in Chester this Thursday (27th March) at 7.00 PM. This initial meeting will allow us to form a committee, get to know each other and put some plans in place to take things forward.
We will be starting pre-season training next Thursday (4th April) at 7.00 PM on Hoole Park playing fields.
This first session will act as a further get to know you session and help us to identify our players and their experience levels. Everybody is welcome - whether you have bags of league experience, play mainly union or are a total newcomer. Come down and introduce yourselves; I'll be the portly one in a St Helens shirt.
I already have a couple of people interested in coaching; if anybody else is keen, again, please let me know.
BTW, it's 90% confirmed that our club name will be Chester Gladiators RLFC.
