Seeing as though it looks like all available quality halfbacks will either be staying on or moving elsewhere I would hope that we might be able to bring in 3 quality signings to really boost our pack.

Tronc would be a good signing. Good age for a prop as well. with him and possibly a quality halfback (Lockyer, Orford, Jones) and maybe with another prop we'd be a different team.

I'd also take a punt on Minechello. Was fantastic, come off the back of an injury but has real natural talent.

Tronc wouldn't command a fortune either which would probably allow us to bring in at least another couple of players.

Maybe then Lenagan could make Lenagan an offer for LMS at Quins and Lenagan could accept it

Are any other clubs actively looking for a big name prop next year? Leeds, Saints + Warrington seem kinda sorted. So do Hull, possibly KR i suppose. Huddersfield have already announced one signing haven't they?

The bit that's worrying me about that Tronc story is that they have also commented that wigan have obviously been watching the cowboys for a prop, HAVENT made an offer for Carl Webb, but that Tronc is in talks with a "unknown" super league club. Reading that I would put 2+2 together, which makes me wonder why they haven't?

LMS - werent they on X Factor last year?

For those who take a little more notice of the NRL than I do, how does Tronc compare with others we've been linked such as O'Meley and Webb.

Having a very good season, like it says in the above article he would be due for a large pay rise because of his performances this season, hence why he is being squeezed out because of the cap.

Hasn't hit the hights that the big big names have had in the past, but is still a very good player at a much younger age than O'Meley. I'd probably rate him higher than those two off this season alone, which is the one that matters i suppose.
