Could have got into a bit of trouble at the CC Final (Wire v Wigan), Iro scored and threw the ball at Drummonds face due to a dirty tackle. Drummond took offence and threw probably one of the hardest punches ever seen, karate punch to the chin.
To be fair to Iro, he handled it very well (his neck went back and then he laid into Iro, mass brawl ensued).

Ballcocks. Nickle went in with elbows, fists, knees every week. He just wasn't skilful enough to connect properly, whereas our Mick (looking for a bit of retribution after a cheap smash on Robbie McCormack) managed it first time. Not nice, but don't pretend your lot didn't go in for nasty stuff - like Fogerty and his headbutt for example.

Watch the video. Tallis looks good and lands a few by throwing them first, but when Terry connects he splats Gordon's nose all over Brisbane. When they go off Terry is just pssed off, but Tallis has to go down on his haunches holding his streaming nose, having been smacked good n' proper. | | |

There's a video on you tube interveiwing Tallis about it, who speaks about it in very good humour. Apparently O'Connor had been sledging the brisbane players and Tallis decided to do something about it - "it didn't go as well as I'd hoped" were along the words he used.
